concept  The quarterly newsletter is the primary communication piece between donors/volunteers and this Christian camp. The client had been doing the layout but found it to be an emotional burden because they weren't passionate about grids and type styles and prepress (all of which was too evident)—they want to spend time with campers. The client provides rough copy, which I edit, and a CD of recent photos for some of the stories. The client continues to request a 1-color solution to fit in their budget and reinforce their commitment to stewardship of resources.
